PHLC is focused on strengthening the infrastructure required to advance equity-focused transformation in primary care and population health. This includes designing and managing large-scale practice transformation initiatives, delivering technical assistance through virtual learning environments and peer-based engagement, and supporting alignment across systems, funders, and care delivery partners. We serve as a strategic partner to organizations and institutions committed to advancing health equity, with all efforts grounded in a shared goal: building a more just, coordinated, and person-centered healthcare system that better serves communities historically marginalized by existing models of care.
The Position
The Manager of Analytics, reporting to the Director of Analytics and Impact, will be responsible for ensuring data quality and creating reports and insights to support the Learning Center's programs.

The Position
The Manager of Analytics, reporting to the Director of Analytics and Impact, will be responsible for ensuring data quality and creating reports and insights to support the Learning Center's programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining the infrastructure for collecting data from stakeholders, including but not limited to managed care plans, practices, and vendors.
- Validating incoming data to ensure data integrity; assessing, establishing, and improving scalable data management processes.
- Generating strategic and tactical data analyses and visualizations required to identify business and improvement opportunities.
- Conducting simple statistical analysis and recommending pragmatic analytical methods to improve reporting rigor.
- Preparing presentation materials with actionable insights for internal and external audiences, including senior leaders, partners, and funders.
- Supporting data-related conversations and providing technical assistance to enhance data collection and collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
- Creating agendas and meeting materials for data workgroup sessions, presenting during the meetings, and facilitating discussions.
- Collaborating with the communications team to identify and produce data analyses that tell a compelling story, sharing results with the broader field or key stakeholders to drive meaningful insights and action.
- Master’s degree (e.g., MA, MPH, MBA, MPA) or equivalent work experience required; a Master's degree in statistics, epidemiology, mathematics, or a related field is highly desirable
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with analytical tools including Tableau and Excel. Experience with SQL, Python, and other tools a plus
- Experience in working with programmatic data and brings an evaluative lens
- Proficiency in interpreting HEDIS measure specifications and familiarity with performance measurement and patient attribution
- Experience in handling health care data from various data sources, such as claims, labs, and EMR
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into scalable, replicable reporting ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- A bias toward action, able to work in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities
- Comfortability working with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside of the Learning Center in a collaborative and collegial manner; excellent communication skills
